Internazionale maintained their seven-point lead at the top of Serie A with a 3-0 win over bottom club Reggina at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Esteban Cambiasso's sixth-minute finish and a Zlatan Ibrahimovic brace gave Inter the three points after second-placed Juventus won 4-1 at Roma.

Cambiasso was playing as a makeshift defender due to Inter's injury crisis at the back.

But it was in the opposition box where he had the greatest effect, opening the scoring with a coolly-placed chip into the bottom left corner after he was sent through by a wonderful back-heel from Serbia midfielder Dejan Stankovic.

Ibrahimovic doubled the lead from the penalty spot five minutes later, following a clear trip on winger Mancini by defender Carlos Valdez.

Sweden striker Ibrahimovic missed a one-on-one, hit the post and set up a good chance for Mario Balotelli before sealing the win with a superb run and lob on 58 minutes.

The visitors came close to grabbing a goal but Nerazzurri keeper Julio Cesar was in inspired form to deny Daniel Adejo, Maurizio Lanzaro, Franco Brienza and Francesco Cozza a consolation.

Genoa stayed ahead in the race for the fourth Champions League qualifying spot with a 2-0 home win over Udinese while fifth-placed Fiorentina, two behind, beat Siena 1-0.
