Tue 22 Apr, 04:00 PM

West Brom manager Tony Mowbray has denied reports that the club have made an enquiry about Crystal Palace defender Mark Hudson.Palace boss Neil Warnock had claimed Albion and Stoke were interested in signing the centre-half, who recently turned down the offer of a new contract at Selhurst Park and will be a free agent in the summer.

However Mowbray told West Brom's official website: "Nobody at our football club has had any contact with anyone at Crystal Palace regarding Mark Hudson.

"I don't know where that comes from because we have had no conversations with Crystal Palace at any level, or with Mark Hudson or Mark Hudson's agent."
