Real Madrid defender Pepe faces a lengthy suspension after the referee detailed the Portugal international's aggression on Tuesday toward two Getafe players and the fourth official in his match report.
With the scores level at 2-2 and three minutes left in the clash at the Bernabeu, Pepe pushed Getafe's Francisco Casquero and the referee awarded a penalty.
Pepe then kicked Casquero on the ground and a second swipe saw him rake his studs over the midfielder's back. In the ensuing melee he struck another Getafe player, Juan Albin, in the face.
He was shown a straight red card, having already picked up a yellow earlier in the match, which Real won 3-2 thanks to Gonzalo Higuain's dramatic winner in added time.
"The home player (Pepe) kicked the fouled player and punched an opponent in the face," referee Carlos Delgado Ferreiro said in his report.
"The said player then directed the following phrase at the fourth official as he was leaving the pitch: 'You are all sons of whores'," he wrote.
Pepe also broke the rules by coming back on to the pitch to celebrate Higuain's winner with his teammates, Delgado added.
Pepe later apologised for his actions but will miss the match at third-placed Sevilla this weekend and is almost certain to be banned for the home clash against Barcelona in around 10 days time.
Real's win cut Barca's advantage to three points ahead of the leaders' match against Sevilla at the Nou Camp on Wednesday.
Depending on the disciplinary body's decision, likely to be made public toward the end of this week, Pepe could even be barred from playing in any of the champions' remaining six games.
Getafe president Angel Torres was quoted as saying in the Spanish media he hoped Pepe was handed a 10-match ban.
"You can win or lose a match but a player cannot behave in that way, especially if you are in a big team playing against a small one," he said.
Real coach Juande Ramos defended Pepe after the match, saying he had intended to kick the air and not the player.
"Pepe was annoyed with himself when he saw it was a penalty and wanted to kick the air, not the player," Ramos said. "I'm sure the disciplinary committee will see that he lost his head and didn't want to kick him."
Goalkeeper Iker Casillas, who saved Casquero's penalty, was less forgiving: "You cannot do what Pepe did while wearing the Real Madrid shirt."

Oh pepe, what demon has reincanated in ur body????????Call in the exorcists ASAP!!!
Pepe should be banned for life for what he did. First he caused a clear penalty, that was a push. Second, he goes and kicks the player 2 times on the back, and third he slaps another getafe player and punches another getafe player. Check for yourself, go to youtube and search the title ANIMAL PEPE AGRESION CASQUERO REAL MADRID GETAFE, and you will see exactly what happened.

this f*cking pepe is too chicken @#$% to play against Barca despite after all noises he made before.. f*cking idiot.. n ramos comment, stupid blind.. unlike wise casillas, eventhou i hate to say this, he is indeed a good captain, i really admire him for that.. completely honest comment..
Does anybody know the real name of Pepe? His real name is Képler Laveran Lima Ferreira, a nationalised Portuguese from Brazil.....
Insulting comments from Juande Ramos. Kick the air and kick it twice within seconds? There was plenty of air, time and space elsewhere to be kicked. And i am sure Juande will say he was insulting the "air" with his invectives directed at the 4th official. Shame on Pepe. I really wish the likes of Iker Casillas be pulled from that team. They are a mess and i will be more than shocked if they beat Barca...they will be crushed! However, good luck Real Madrid.
If you think of it objective, if Pepe really wanted to kick him he would do it. There is no way he could "miss" it. On the other hand there is no excuse and he shouldn't even think of kicking anything. He deserves to be banned. Coach should always be with his squad even if situation is not good. Maybe this was not happiest way of giving support but I understand it. And for the end, people are so shallow. One thing is not to like some club (or person) but completely different to insult lots of good people who're working hard and honest. Jealousy will do nothing good. No matter if you like or dislike Real Madrid, it is fact that it is biggest world football club. Milan and Liverpool are near but still need to travel there. ManUtd, Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern and Juventus are also top class.
I hope that Pepe will receive 10 match ban.
I agree that with Casilas when he said that you can not behave like that wearing the Real Madrid shirt.
I hope that the Spanish Federation will react properly in order to protect the beauty of the Spanish football from the players like Pepe.
I'm a Spanish resident living in Madrid thus, I have a priviledge of watching La Liga every weekend. Sometimes I do wonder why on earth a good football follower or a soccer analyst will ever say this Real Madrid is a good team compared to other top class European teams. Albeit their past glories, Real Madrid for long time now has never played any good or attractive football, it's a team full of confusion, match-fixing, vote rigging and bedecked with corruption to mention a few. This clearly expalins why the team always fail in Europe where it is practically difficult (if not impossible) for them to practice their gullible and nefarious acts. Of course, I do pity some good players who are in the team...honestly speaking, Real Madrid of those days (I'm talking of the era of the Galaticos), is not the same Madrid we're all witnessing today. Real Madrid always plays BAD football but somehow (perhaps owing to sheer luck or some underground homeworks) they ALWAYS triumph. I wish them good-luck. To me, currently Real madrid is NOT a team!
Juande Ramos is just as stupid as his bloody funky red arse. Who does he think he can fool? He wanted to kick the air? what air? A match they fixed with that bloody Casquero to miss the penalty and he still hopes Pepe cld be back soon. That's why he could do nothing with Spurs.
he is the worst defender in the world!!! very stupid person and every second game he is having a red card!!! bljak!!!
The person behind the mask is without morale education, i mean (comment2-3) You see, you don't disrpect others to prove a point especially whose shoes you can't and
can never able to put on. If you(cemment 2-3) was human enough you should have known
that the begest competitor is that person team(R madrid) that refuse to give up; A real
challenger that makes something out of nothing. You called the whole of madrid rubish.. i forgive because you don't know the meaning of "RUBISH". I don't get had on
people non blame them talking or working on the level of awellness they have. If you
think winning 14 straight matches was equal to teking a prostitude to a bed then go
and manage a team in your village hahahaha. Hala Madrid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm not surrprise from what i saw all r madrid are rubish this season there has been 12 sent off for them . their presidant has been kicked out by coruption cheatin and stealing votes. so no surprise they are just rubish that is why there are 5 players in national side from barca villareal and liverpool while only 2 from r madrid and their captain is expiered for national side both delboski and aragonis prefers the 18 years bojan from that jerk
Jundi ramos wants to make the whole world blind. we have seen it clearly even cassillas said that was shame if he can't see well my advise is buy a glass maybe then he can see . this man is so stupied and always says so many redicules things. i remaimber him since he was in sivilla he said same thing at that time when fabiano had a fight with diego player of zaragoza
what a scu'mbag! exciting match though
