Preston boss Alan Irvine is convinced that the use of video technology can aid his side in their search of promotion next season. The Lilywhites have announced the appointment of a full time video-analyst to help the development and positioning of North End's squad during games.
Irvine, who embraced the ProZone programme when he was at Everton, is hopeful the tool can play a significant role when his side begin their campaign next season.
"I was really keen to do a lot of video work as it is something we did that was fairly successful at Everton," Irvine told Preston's official website.
"It was a huge part of helping us getting out of trouble and I hope next season it will be a huge part of our success getting up the league.
"I just feel that it is an extra tool for working with the players. I think it is a fantastic way of developing them."
