Neil Warnock has warned against the growing expectations at Crystal Palace following his impressive first season in charge.Warnock took the Eagles from the Championship relegation zone to the play-offs after taking over at Selhurst Park in October, but the former Sheffield United boss insists they face an even tougher proposition next term.
"When you look at the teams that are coming down, the likes of Birmingham, Reading and Derby, and then you look at the teams throwing money at it, we should be looking to finish half way," he said.
"However, the chairman knows, and I know, that the boys have done well this year - but they have not done anything yet.
"On July 3, when they come back, I hope they have had a good rest because they are going to have to work even harder."
