Cheltenham manager Martin Allen has called on the club`s fans to buy an early-bird season-ticket.

The Robins have sold more than 500 for the 2009/10 campaign, however the deadline for the special offer is next week and Allen is urging the club`s supporters get behind the side as they bid to bounce back to League One at the first attempt.

He said: "I hope the fans saw enough in the last couple of months of the season to see how I want the team to play.

"We have pace, energy, young players and we tried to play good passing football.

"We have a terrific opportunity to build an exciting new team and by buying a season ticket our supporters can make a massive contribution right at the start."
