Jose Veiga, Lewis Chalmers and Matt Hamshaw head a list of 16 players released by relegated npower League Two club Macclesfield.
The Silkmen appointed Steve King as their new manager on Monday, but Steve Collis, Jack Cudworth, Greg Daniels, Tom Fisher, Scott Kay, Jack Lane, Paul Morgan, Vinny Mukendi, Adam Roberts and Michael Thomas are also among those who will not feature in his assault on the Blue Square Bet Premier next season.
Michael Bakare and Dwayne Mattis both signed short-term deals in January, but the pair complete the list of players released.
Mattis scored on his debut against AFC Wimbledon after joining from Chesterfield but sustained an ankle injury in the same match and missed the rest of the season.
Midfielder Ross Draper has been offered a new deal to remain at the Moss Rose along with 12 players still under contract, including Tony Diagne, Elliot Hewitt, Ben Tomlinson and Carl Tremarco.
Youth teamers Matt Dolan, Matt Harris, Tim Hughes, Kieron Kenny, Patrick Kilburn, Liam Leary, Paul Lewis, Niall Rhodes, Darnell Smith, Thomas Stott and Joel Swift are retained, but their colleagues Jay Burgess, Ryan Meredith, George Robertson, Jordan Trinci-Lyne and Jake Vernon are set to depart.

What the F'ing hell is happening at Macc. Your getting rid of one of the best keepers that played in league two last season, if it hadn't of been for him we would of been absolutely hammered at Southend in the last game. This is not the way to go about getting back up in the first season, we need players who have played together not a team that has no experience playing together. Who is going to come to Moss Rose to play for us if this is what the board is capable of. I guess we could get some of the mascots that came out during last season.
