to all the people saying £20m is too expensive; when you put into prospect that darren bent was bought for £16m, it's actually quite low. this guy is world class, watching him in the russian league he was good, but i questioned myself as to whether he can compete against the best, then this euro has reassured me that he is quality. although, if i'm being perfectly honest, i rate pavlyuchenko more....

He looks the type of player who could fit in with arsenal's style of play. Some of the russian goals,to which he played an integral part,could have come straight out of the arsenal playbook. But will a £20 million price tag frighten off Wenger and the board? They're not known as the bank of england for nothing.

Arshavin ia a great player. He had a very good Euro so far. I think he is just the kind of player for Arsenal. Although 20 million is a bit too high, between 15 and 17 million is right.

I saw the game yesterday, and he was brilliant, top class but 20 mil. pounds is alot. around 15 mil.pounds would be a more reasonable amount.
I think he should go to Chelsea since him and Roman would get along very well. (both russians). Chelsea have the cash, but the question is.. if he is good enough. But if not chelsea, I think totenham should splash the cash. I think they are going to challenge for a top 5 spot or 4, under Ramos IF..... they get some better players to strenghen the squad. They already have Modric who is also expensive but yet again very talented. So the future looks bright for Arshavin!!!

Kudos to Arshavin. A very skillfull player. But 20,000 pounds it a bit on the higher side. Though he his a very intelligent player that can create a goal at the unexpected time.
