New Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has warned his inherited squad that nobody is safe at Stamford Bridge.
Scolari takes charge of the Premier League club following Portugal's elimination from Euro 2008 and has revealed that he is ready to overhaul the Blues.
The likes of Nicolas Anelka, Florent Malouda and Shaun Wright-Phillips could all face Scolari's axe, while the former Brazil boss is believed to be keen to land Barcelona pair Ronaldinho and Deco.
But Scolari has also hinted that he will be keen to build a committed Chelsea squad, which could signal the departure of Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba as speculation continues over the duo's future.
"It will be a revolution especially in terms of mentality," Scolari told the News of the World.
"First there will need to be an overhaul, as happens in any company when they change boss.
"When that happens I don't know, because it depends on the human resources, on the whole team.
"I confess, for the first few games I will have difficulty in identifying all the players and getting their fusion right.
"Everyone has their personality, their way of working and their way of seeing players. I will begin by seeing players in training because you see different reactions there."
And Scolari also insists that he will not be afraid to tread on a few toes in West London as he bids to build a winning team following Chelsea's empty-handed 2007/08 campaign.
"My choices are purely tactical ones. I pick the players I think are the best," added Scolari. "I only give explanations about players I pick, never about others.
"I won't give explanations about any player not selected. Whoever is not selected is not selected.
"Let them be unhappy with it. They know that's the way it is in football. I, as a coach, have to live with the responsibility of choosing.
"Nobody knows what goes on inside my head. That's why it's better not to respond to some criticism."

to me all these are rubbish. Must it be the blacks alone. Don't send them away build them to your own taste and I surely know that they will give you what you want. Do the best man. You are a good coach and you also know what you want. All the best. AYUSOFNOSORROW1 FORM NIGERIA
my respone to comment fabulouskid77:you are kid truely judging by your statements, why hit on mikel obi?every player who has been celebrated always have their bad patch(ronaldinho for example)mikel obi is still young and budding...messi will fade away very soon, mark my words, and obi will still waxing strong...you just watch obi,few yrs to come....osa:japan
Probably He needs to change the whole team because they didnt get any trophy. So what's you'r point? Malouda is not good? Why dont you just get: Castilla, Puyol, Ferdinand, Pepe, Cafu, Evra, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Messi, Van Nisteroy and Villa instead of axing some innocent?
I love your idea scolari.....Can somebody tell what club is bidding for the Nigerian Player Mikel John Obi. Im sorry if stoke, hull and wigan do not bid for you now that the "extra special one" is here you will sit on the bench and your @#$% will get Red like the baboons. Im a nigerian dont think dirty. You would have been an anderson to Nigeria by now at Man U. Gunnerz for life though. You hold on to ball for too long and very arrogant like your mentor (mounrinho). Maybe he will bid for you soon but time has shown you are not jewel after all. Check out L.MEssi,Augueero and Taiye taiwo your mates....Shame on you
blackcandylove79 and Michael M, try reading messages properly before freaking out on someone. Saying that SWP, Anelka and Malouda are possibly facing axe because they under-performed isn't being racist. And how can Scolari be racist when the Brazilians he is supposed to be interested in are black?
gard_scott.....what da @#$% is wrong with ur assertion? If Chealsea is not performing, it is not abt black trio....@#$% comment. Was it not this same black trio who Mourinho used? U always want black ppl to work as slaves for u guys, fucka. The problem is not abt black trio. Don't tell me Lampard, Carvahlho, Cesc, Joe Cole, Ballack, Ferreira, Schevshenko are all blacks....U guys are always looking to put blame on black ppl ......I am glad Terry is not black, otherwise some of u fuckas would have had something to say abt this @#$% penalty miss......If u want a better excuse find a more convincing one.....I hope u will not say Barca couldnt make it bcos of Eto and Ronaldinho who are blacks.....Give me a break man.
In response to to Micheal M...I think accusing him of being racist is completely ridiculous, afterall he is being linked with Ronaldinho (Forgive me if i'm wrong, but last time i saw he was black? Has he done a Micheal Jackson?). It sust happens to be that this black trio aren't performing, and don't fit into the Chelsea team.
What he is though is a money grabbing s.cumbag...hence why his claims of 'no Abramovich intereference' will be ignored when push comes to shove...Which explains why Shevchenko may still have a future here...
i think that you need to sell malouda and them players because they aint as gd as the rest and they aint performing.
we need to sell players who arent commited and bring in replacementsss quick!
you are a proud coach.dont come and destroy our team for us.why would you like to axe Malouda.all the guys you want to axe are blacks too.are you racist?.....and you want to bring in more brazilians.
