Croatia international Danijel Pranjic has completed his move to Bayern Munich from Dutch side Heerenveen.
The 27-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Bundesliga giants and arrives at the Allianz Arena for a reported seven million euro fee.
The two clubs had reached agreement over the player's transfer three weeks ago but the deal had threatened to collapse over Heerenveen's demands.
"This is like a dream come true," Pranjic told Bayern's website.
"Bayern Munich are one of the best clubs in Europe.
"They're in the same category as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool."
Pranjic has won 22 caps for his country and played in last year's European championship. He scored 16 goals in 30 matches for his Dutch club last season.
"Pranjic is a versatile player who was high on the wish list of our new coach Louis van Gaal," Bayern General Director Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told the club website.

haha he is ugly. btw, he played in heerenveen, in the dutch league, how can he be better in bayern, in the bundesliga? bundesliga is much tougher than the dutch.
Weeman should be top tested bayern are european also rans.
That'll give them a lot of options on the left hand side. He'll play LB and play Lahm at RB or can play as winger too. So he can replace Ribery. But surely he isnt in the same class.
