Rachel Wallader, a promising shot putter coached by one-time world's strongest man Geoff Capes, has been provisionally suspended by UK Athletics after failing a doping test.
The 20 year-old - who is ranked fifth in the UK with a season's best 15.31 metres - failed a test for minor stimulant methylhexanamine at last month's British Universities Championships in Bedford.
"The athlete now has the opportunity to respond to the charge against her, including the right to a full hearing of the case," said a UKA statement.
"UK Anti-Doping is tasked with overseeing the UK anti-doping programme and has authority for results management in the UK, fully supported by the rules of the IAAF and UKA."
It follows just a few months after two other Capes coached athletes - Kieren Kelly and Jamie Stevenson - were provisionally suspended for allegedly refusing an out-of-competition drug test.
They face a disciplinary hearing tomorrow and, like Wallader, could face two-year suspensions and lifetime bans from the Olympic Games.
Capes has claimed he was to blame for Wallader's failure, admitting he provided her with a nutritional supplement called 'Endure', which he had been assured by the drug company was perfectly legal.
Former policeman and serving magistrate Capes represented his country a record 67 times and won the Commonwealth shot put title in 1974 and 1978.
He was cut from his role as a mentor by England Athletics earlier this year
