Bristol City defender Jordan Walker has revealed his relief at coming through a 10-month injury ordeal that tested him mentally and physically. The 19-year-old finally made his comeback in Monday's 3-0 win at Yeovil after damaging his anterior cruciate ligament at the start of last season in an academy game.
Walker, who has yet to make his first-team debut, told the club's official website: "It's been a hard 10 months out but I've had to stay patient.
"I've remained positive and it's great to have pulled on the red shirt again.
"It's been a very lonely time for me. The lads have helped me out a lot and I'd obviously like to thank my family and friends for supporting me through this.
"The knee is feeling fine, stronger than before."
