Burnley manager Owen Coyle insisted there remains room for improvement in his side following their 1-0 pre-season friendly victory at Partick.Icelandic midfielder Joey Gudjonsson struck on the stroke of half-time to settle the encounter but Coyle feels the Clarets are still some way off hitting top gear.
He said: "We are delighted to get the win and we scored a good goal.
"We could have scored more, but having said that there is room for improvement.
"We know we can pass the ball better, but I think we showed in fits and starts that we can play the right football. We just didn't do it often enough."
