Hull are closing in on their seventh signing of the summer after Wigan accepted their bid of around £3million for Jamaica striker Marlon King.Hull have already landed six signings this summer, and they are now hoping to persuade King to move across the Pennines to the KC Stadium.
The 28-year-old will now hold talks with the Premier League new boys in the coming days.
"We've agreed terms with Wigan and will be talking with the player over the next 48 hours," Phil Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.
"It's about getting it right in the transfer market, not doing it quickly."
Hull are also continuing talks with Borussia Dortmund over Delron Buckley.
