Sheffield Wednesday striker Akpo Sodje will return to action for the first time since January against MK Dons in a friendly on Tuesday. The 28-year-old, who had surgery to resolve a long-standing ankle problem at the turn of the year, did not feature in either of the Owls' friendlies in Holland.
But the former Port Vale forward, who hit seven goals in 12 matches before his injury lay-off, will be given a run out against the League Two champions.
Strike partner Francis Jeffers, also recovering from a long-term ankle injury that restricted him to 12 appearances last season following his switch from Blackburn, must wait a little longer for his comeback.
