Sinnott upbeat over Heslop deal

Tue 22 Jul, 06:15 PM

Lee Sinnott insists Port Vale's ongoing attempt to bring midfielder Simon Heslop to the League Two club will sort itself out shortly. The Vale boss confirmed at the start of last week he was interested in bringing Louis Dodds and Heslop to the League Two outfit, but after landing the former on Monday, the latter is yet to secure a switch.

And with negotiations with Barnsley ongoing, Sinnott has moved to reassure Vale fans the deal will be resolved one way or another sooner rather than later.

"We will keep evaluating our situation, but I'm sure the situation with Simon will resolve itself in the next couple of days," he told The Sentinel.

Meanwhile, Sinnott has reportedly not offered a contract to defender Chris Tadrosse following his 10-day trial with the club.
