Nigel Pearson was left with plenty to ponder after his Leicester side drew 0-0 with Mansfield on Tuesday.

The Foxes were able to welcome Aleksandar Tunchev back from injury at Field Mill but were unable to break down their non-League opponents.

"I'm not going to gloss over anything and I know there are areas we need to work on," Pearson told the Leicester Mercury.

"We're in a situation where we are playing against teams who want to claim a scalp and I like that."

Pearson also confirmed that Billy Kee's six-month loan switch to Accrington will begin on August 1.
