  1. Serena has a record of 7 wins and 2 loses again Clijsters; she also have 7 win and 6 loses against Henin. Venus have 7 wins and 5 loses against Clijsters; she also have 7 wins and 2 loses agains Henin.

The Williams Sisters all have a combined record of 18 singles Grand Slams to 9 for Clijsters and Henin combined.(not even enough to surpass Serena's 11 Grand Slams)

Now with the record mentioned above, can somebody on this forum please rationally tell me how the heck Henin and Clijsters can possible be better than Serena and Venus? Henin and Clijsters and no average tennis players and have probably more winning percentage against The Williams Sisters than any other players currently on tour apart from Jankovic. But they are far from being better than the Sisters. Serena and Venus are not invincible but they always remain the players to beat in any tournament....including Grand Slams. Nadal has beaten Federer more but it doesn`t make him the better player but in this case Henin and Clijsters have even posted that kinda record against The Sisters. So people, don`t get carried away with the victories Henin and Clijsters have posted against Venus and Serena `cause it`s bound to happen. Just don`t forget that The Williams Sisters have a better record and more Grand Slams. Now that makes them better than the Belgian duo. It might not sit well with their fans but that's the hard fact.

I thought she was so happy and successful with her own business. What went wrong? The set-up was very much admired by Mrs.Murrey who thought it would be suitable for her own set-up in Scotland. I don't think she'll be Number One again, age is against her.

  5. I am very happy to see her return even though it was expected. LOL Anyway my only gripe is her willingness to rush back into things. Part of what made Kim's comeback such a success was that she took her time before she started competing again. Clijsters could have come back as early as before Wimbledon this year but chose not to. Instead she worked hard and prepared herself mentally and physically for the US Summer Hardcourt season. She did not rush the comeback. I wish Justine would do the same.

When there were all the reports last month that she was going to announce her comeback I said the perfect time for her to get back into competition would have been at the start of next year's clay court season - where she truly is queen!!! That way she would have made a smooth and easy transition back into the game where she would have gained the confidence from playing on her favorite surface i.e. clay - before moving on the other surfaces and greater goals.

This is pretty much what Kim did. She chose NOT to return on the clay because that would have been rushing things and NOT to return on the grass because she has never really had much success there but decided for the Hard Courts in the US where she knows she plays her best tennis. And even if she did not win the US Open at least she could have put a clearer perspective on where she is at mentally and physically having played some matches on her favorite surface.

I never cease to be amazed how Belgium produced two world-beating tennis players at the same time.

Pure coincidence or is there something about the way tennis is taught and developed in Belgium that makes this possible?

    Yes, it's possible.Using unauthorized means!
