Joe Cole and Yuri Zhirkov are set to make their first appearances of the season for Chelsea against QPR in the Carling Cup.
Assistant manager Ray Wilkins has confirmed they will be in the starting line-up against their west London neighbours.
A host of academy and fringe players will also be in the squad as Chelsea look to rest Nicolas Anelka and Ricardo Carvalho among others.

I really want to see Zhirkov play since his signing. I believe he will do his best, and Cole is a great player as well. Welcome back on board boys with the winning team. Cheer up.
cant wait to see them play. a whole new dimension with these 2 and a whole new way to open up defenses. it will especially make a difference on the right with cole as we lacked any and players were having to move where they wouldnt normally. I am esxcited to see Zhirkov though
