Manchester United's victory in Moscow has catapulted them to the top of this week's European Power Rankings.
We take into account domestic and Champions League performances, plus the relative difficulty of each team's league, to find out who is the best team in Europe.
Manchester United are back on top, taking over from Premier League rivals Chelsea, whose 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa proved decisive.
Liverpool's disastrous fall from grace is reflected in the rankings - they drop out of the top 20 altogether on the back of four consecutive defeats, most recently at home to Lyon. Rafa Benitez's side have dropped 15 places in the last two sets of rankings.
It's all going a bit pear-shaped for Spain's big two Barcelona and Real Madrid, who both lost their Champions League games this week. Real drop four places to sixth, while defending European champions Barca are a lowly 10th behind the likes of Bordeaux, Olympiacos and Porto.
It was a better week for Italian clubs, three out of four of whom achieved victories. Fiorentina, Juventus and Milan are up to 11th, 13th and 14th respectively, while Internazionale are non-movers at 15.
Rubin Kazan lead a trio of new entries to the top 20 following their stunning win at Camp Nou, with Marseille and Unirea Urziceni also on the rise
Bottom of the pile in 32nd place are Atletico Madrid, who have mustered just seven points in 10 Liga and Champions League games.

HOW IT WORKS
Scores are based on points per game in domestic league and Champions League games.
Domestic points per game are multiplied by the league coefficient - either 3.5, 4, 4.5 or 5 - with teams in stronger leagues getting more credit.
League coefficients:
5 - England, Italy, Spain
4.5 - Germany, France, Portugal, Netherlands, Russia
4 - Belgium, Greece, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine, Scotland, Hungary, Romania
3.5 - Cyprus, Switzerland, Israel
Champions League victories are counted as three points for a win. They are all multiplied by a coefficient of 5. Matches in the group stage and beyond are counted.
Example: Manchester United
22 points from 9 Premier League games = 2.44 points per game
Multiplied by league coefficient of five - 2.44 x 5 = 12.22
9 points from 3 Champions League game = 3 points per game.
Multiplied by European coefficient of five - 3 x 5 = 15
Total score = 15 + 12.22 = 27.22

This list is @#$%, no logic here if you pay more attention. :D
glory glory man united
gLORY gLORY man u carp it
Liverpool fans are living in the past, they are just rubbish now...face it !!! I am not a Man Utd fan, but i got to admit that there reign of all things football whether it be europe or premier league is going to be looked back at a golden age at some point dwarfing that of Liverpools. I say all this as i respect Sir Alex Ferguson and think him to be the greatest manager of all time. I wish he managed Stockport County !!!
leave man utd is aclub of its own caperbilities with enough team spirits. just join and be a fun of a big club like manu.
Refreeing does make a diffrence. If all matches in Champions League were refreed by English then Liverpool would be number one.
The position in the table didn't stop Lyon getting tanked 4-1 by the second bottom team in the French league.
Or Real Madrid smashed 4-0 by a small village team in the Spanish Cup.
HEARD A GOOD ONE LAST NIGHT 3 MANCHESTER UNITED FANS ARRESTED AT BARNSLEY
AND THEY SAID THEY CAME FROM MANCHESTER ! CANT BELIEVE THAT
Man u is a great team but they need right full back and good midfielder with sharp attacker to win this EPL trophy
".....liverpool beat man u, and man u still top! wat a joke!"
it's not EPL lol!!it's based on champions league performance.
Funny to see narrow minded fans gloating on a table that makes no sense whatsoever. Liverpool have 16.88 points yet have been placed 6 places lower than Internazionale at (15) - who are also on 16.88 ?????????
we rrrrrrrr the champion

this is a joke! when man u lost, the power ranking seem to be almost hidden from this place and not updated! Chelsea trashed athletico madrid 4-0 and blackburn 5-0, and liverpool beat man u, and man u still top! wat a joke!
Well It is no longer in doubt that man utd is making the league intersting as well as making their fans excited. just wait until we give you the shocker of your life. always man. KELVIN I.
Where da funk is Buckie Thistle ??? Yet again they have completely missed them out. This is the only table Man U or Chelsea could ever make it to the top this season.Funny to see narrow minded fans gloating on a table that makes no sense whatsoever. Liverpool have 16.88 points yet have been placed 6 places lower than Internazionale at (15) - who are also on 16.88 ?????????
