Wycombe manager Gary Waddock believes he has already noticed a boost in confidence around Adams Park.
Waddock saw his side come away with a 1-1 draw at home to Colchester last weekend thanks to a late equaliser from Jon-Paul Pittman and is now gunning for a win at Exeter on Saturday.
He said: "There was a buzz in the dressing room afterwards and now we have to build on that.
"A draw at home against the in-form team in the league is a good start and the confidence is returning slowly but surely.
"I've come up against Exeter in the conference and in League Two last year and they are a good side.
"It's a very difficult place to go and get a result but it will be a good spectacle and we hope to come away with a win."
