Liverpool left-back Andrea Dossena is confident his struggling team will turn things around after a losing four successive matches.

The Reds lost 2-1 against Lyon in Tuesday's Champions League match at Anfield to complicate their hopes of advancing from Group E.

The outcome was Liverpool's fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions and has left coach Rafael Benitez under pressure.

"I believe we can play catch-up," said Dossena in an interview to Tuttonapoli.it. "We have not won in the last four games and we face difficult games against Manchester United and at Lyon.

"But we hope to recover (injured players) Fernando Torres, Albert Riera and Steven Gerrard, key players in this team."
