Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock is pleased to welcome back Iceland international Kari Arnason for Saturday's Championship clash at home to basement-boys Ipswich.
Sturrock's second-from-bottom side are hoping to bounce back from defeats at Bristol City and Blackpool.
He said: "Kari trained [on Thursday morning] and we will have to see how he reacts. He's one that would be important to us. It would be good to have him back."
Sturrock is down to his last two fit centre-backs, Krisztian Timar and on-loan Aston Villa central defender Shane Lowry.
