QPR striker Dexter Blackstock has told manager Luigi De Canio he is "raring to go" after recovering from knee surgery.Last season's top scorer played 45 minutes for the reserves on Tuesday night and immediately declared himself fit for Saturday's home game against Sheffield Wednesday following a seven-week lay-off.
"I felt good, and just to be out playing was great," he said.
"I'm raring to go and available for Saturday, and hopefully we can get the result we need.
"I'll be lacking a bit of match practice, but the only way to get that is by playing first-team matches."
