Cardiff City have wished starlet Matthew Green "all the best" after he joined Blue Square Premier outfit Oxford United on loan.The 20-year-old striker, who spent October on loan at League Two high-flyers Darlington, will go straight into Jim Smith's squad who travel to Kidderminster on Saturday.

Green has already made six appearances for the Bluebirds and played five times in all competitions during his time at Darlington.

A statement on the club's official website read: "We would like to wish Matthew all the best and hope that we see his name on the scoresheet."
