Chasetown get to train at Wolves

Wolves have lent a helping hand to minnows Chasetown ahead of their FA Cup third-round tie with Cardiff City.The BGB Southern League Midlands outfit, the lowest ranking side left in the competition, are relative neighbours of their illustrious Championship counterparts.

Chasetown have been offered the use of their state-of-the-art training facilities at Compton on January 4, one day before their crunch clash.

Chief executive Jez Moxey told the club's official website: "Chasetown's achievements in the FA Cup are just incredible. Everyone here wishes them all the very best."

Chasetown manager Charlie Blakemore added: "This is a fantastic gesture and the best Christmas present we could have hoped for.

"Along with many of the lads, I am a big Wolves fan and it is a great honour for us."
