2007 Czech Republic Under-21 Martin Fenin - 0

The Under-21 international leaves FK Teplice for a fee of around £3 million and will sign a five-year contract next week.

"I am superstitious, I don't want to jinx it. But it should turn out well," Fenin said.

"The transfer has been agreed with Frankfurt boss Heribert Bruchhagen," the player's agent Pavel Zika said.

"Martin has just returned from holiday in Egypt and on 27 December we are flying to Germany to iron out the contract, to sign it and Martin will be unveiled at press conference,"

Asked why he decided to go for Frankfurt instead of Juventus, Fenin replied: "Juventus would have been also great but I knew right from the start that they would send me on loan to Udinese or Genoa and that would not be good.

"I have always dreamt to play in front of full stadiums, it has been my dream, that is the reason why you play football. And Frankfurt have high attendances.

"I also decided with respect to the language as I learned German at school. The main reason is though that I know Frankfurt really are keen on buying me."
