Manager Martin Jol refused to excuse his players after Fulham paid the price for some abysmal defending, gifting Manchester United three goals in a 5-0 win.
Danny Welbeck, Nani, Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov netted the goals as Sir Alex Ferguson's side dominated.
"If you have eight attempts on goal like they did and score five of them, then it's a horror scenario," Jol said.
"In the first half we weren't good enough, it was too easy for them. The second half was a lot better.
"We couldn't get the ball to Mousa Dembele and Clint Dempsey, never mind Andy Johnson, and that was disappointing.
"To concede early goals like that isn't good for your confidence."

Can you do any better, Karl and Laurie or are you just amongst the misguided people who constantly moan and call for Jol's head but have no credible alternative????
Funny also for someone supposedly so useless, he came recommended to Fulham and Mo wanted him twice. The players want to play for him. Oh and what did Hughes do before Xmas? Fulham were in a worse position. He got Fulham up to the top half but he was very miserable and boring. So lay off Jol, you are wrong and misguided.
Jol's taking us down - no doubt about that!
who would want to play for that misarable- useless- devoid of any personality- zeromotivator- jol. was same at spurs thats why they got rid of him
