Chester defender Paul Butler has urged his team-mates to end their current six-game winless streak against Rotherham this weekend.City's slump in form has seen Bobby Williamson's side lose ground on the play-off pack but Butler is targeting an upturn in fortune.
Butler is still smarting from Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Notts County and is determined to get back to winning ways sooner rather than later.
"The defeat hurt every one of us in the Chester team, but we have now just got to pick ourselves up and carry on," Butler told the Chester Standard.
"We're in a bad run - we know that, and the only ones who are going to get us out of it are the lads at the club.
"The players have got to dig in and stick together, and hopefully we'll pull ourselves out of the problem we're in."
