Foxes set for double injury boost

Wed 23 Jan, 05:00 PM

Leicester could be set for a double injury boost ahead of Monday's televised home game against Championship's in-form side Crystal Palace.Striker DJ Campbell and captain Stephen Clemence missed the hard-earned goalless draw at Norwich at the weekend with respective pelvis and calf problems.

Foxes assistant manager Tim Breacker has revealed the pair are making good progress in their recoveries.

"Both players are improving," he told the club's official website. "DJ picked up a knock in training ahead of the game against Norwich, but we are hoping that he will be available for the Palace game.

"He has actually been ill for the first part of the week but we are going to reassess him ahead of the weekend so he should be okay. Stephen is also not too far away now and we are also hopeful that he will be back."

Defender Patrick Kisnorbo will be available for selection after serving a one-match suspension at Carrow Road.
