Chesterfield defender Jamie Lowry has signed a two-year contract extension which will keep the 20-year-old at the club until June 2010.A product of the club's youth system, Lowry has made 38 appearances for the Spireites since signing his first professional contract in July 2006 and has scored four goals - all of them coming this season.
He said: "I am really enjoying my football at the moment and am delighted to be able to extend my contract with Chesterfield.
"I am really pleased that I have been able to make some impact this season and hope I can continue to perform well and we can push out of this division."
