Manager Russell Slade believes new Yeovil striker Andy Kirk has all the attributes to become a key player at Huish Park in the future.Kirk made his debut for the Glovers in the goalless home draw with Oldham on Saturday following his switch from League One rivals Northampton.

Slade said: "The combination of Lloyd Owusu and Kirk showed good signs. I think you can see that when things are in the box, Kirk only has one thing on his mind - and that is to try and get a shot off on target.

"He's the right type of player for this club and I'm sure he will be banging in goals for us."
