Wrexham defender Ryan Valentine is on the verge of re-signing for Darlington on a permanent basis after joining the club on loan last week.The 25-year-old initially joined the Quakers on loan late last week to enable him to figure in Saturday's 1-0 win at Mansfield, and is currently completing the formalities of a full-time move to the League Two rivals.

Valentine made well over 150 appearances in a four-year spell at Darlington between July 2002 and August 2006 before joining the Dragons.
