David Beckham looks set to leave America, but who is going to sign him?
Well, there's a clue in the picture, because Milan are close to a deal that will see him stay at the San Siro.
Beckham has started both of Milan's Serie A games since arriving on loan from LA Galaxy, and his performance level and commitment have pleasantly surprised coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Milan - no strangers to wringing every last drop of juice out of ancient players - are convinced that the 33-year-old Beckham has a couple of years left in him.
Goldenballs is delighted at being used as more than a bit-part player and has even started learning the language which, it seems, is more than he ever did at Real Madrid.
Becks is a free agent at the end of the MLS season in October, and a little persuasion, Silvio Berlusconi style, might see him released from his obligations in time to start the 2009-10 season in Milan.
Everton's desperate search for a striker has led them to Werder Bremen's Hugo Almeida.
The Portuguese, who does a nice line in Tevez-esque goal celebrations featuring children's dummies, said: "I am open to offers and am happy that Everton are interested in my services."
But across Stanley Park, Liverpool are planning to hijack the bid. You know, just to mess with the Toffees.
One rumour that, like R. Kelly, believes it can fly but actually can do no such thing, is Dirk Kuyt to Juventus for £28m.
Not only is it preposterous on every conceivable level, Kuyt's 'team' do not even know about Juve's interest.
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is promising to pick the weakest team he possibly can for tomorrow's FA Cup tie against Manchester United.
Whether that means he will put Giovani dos Santos in goal and Ben Alnwick up front remains to be seen, but this is one game no Spurs player wants to be involved in as selection represents a vote of no confidence from the increasingly irate gaffer.
Two of the first names on the team sheet will be Darren Bent and David Bentley, who may not be moping around much longer thanks to interest from Sunderland and Middlesbrough respectively.
Spurs are looking to recoup some of the £30m outlay on Jermain Defoe and Wilson Palacios, and could accept cut-price offers (that means just seven figures, bargain fans) for Bent and Bentley.
Having just trousered £14m for Craig Bellamy, West Ham are preparing to spend more than half of it on cosmopolitan Brescia striker Savio Nsereko, who was born in Uganda, has German nationality and plays in the Italian second division.
It seems like a lot of money for a player nobody has ever heard of, but Hammers technical director Gianluca Nani obviously likes what he sees.
West Ham hope to make an official announcement after tomorrow's embarrassing FA Cup exit at Hartlepool.
The Hammers have been told they will have fork out £8m if they want anything to do with Cardiff City's Joe Ledley.
Red Bull Salzburg striker Marc Janko has already scored 30 league goals this season, 45 in all competitions, which probably says more about the standard of Austrian football than it does about Janko.
Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce likes the Alpine Marco Negri , but not that much. He has lodged a final £6m bid.
Just a few weeks after being jeered by his own fans, Emmanuel Eboue is set for a new Arsenal contract after a bid from Atletico Madrid was rejected.
Portsmouth are set to make a final bid to bring Gary O'Neil back from Middlesbrough and believe that if £2.5m doesn't turn Steve Gibson's head, nothing will.
Hull have completed the permanent signing of defender Kamil Zayatte from Young Boys and hope to add Jimmy Bullard in the next few days. Stelios Giannakopoulos has left the KC Stadium and fled to Larissa.
And we couldn't leave without a Manchester City rumour - they are closing on a £10m deal for Newcastle's Shay Given.

i thik given is worth more than that he's the best in the english game & i'm not a newcastle fan, a mean if Buffon cost 30'million which ano was silly price given has got to be worth 16'million in my eyes!
Brckham will sign for milan in october as u can still sign free agents in october, but no money transfer deals
Hugo Almeida will be a great addition to the Premier League. He is strong and great in the air. I am sure he will be a impact player. Good luck to him.
Gort - your the type of person thats wrong with these yahoo/eurosport comment pages. All you do is post negative @#$%, your the one that needs a life
That transfer to the United States was nothing but a publicity stunt in any case and David knew that he was going to stay in Europe in the end. I mean, who would want to play their game in such a dull place. Apart from earning much more money there, there isn't that much to aspire to in a country which is far more reknown for its baseball, netball and the like sports. That was so predictable, I should have put my house up as a bet, it would have made me even richer.
West Ham loses to Hartlepool? Maybe I'm missing the humor that was intended. This match will not be close. Hammers in a big way. Cole scores again. I wonder what you will write next, maybe Kinnear set to exit Newcastle? I also don't understand why so many folks don't like Beckham. He is a great footballer and I have no doubt England would have qualified for Euro 2008 if he had been used more. Maybe he can come to West Ham as player/owner.

WB get a life.
Kuyt isn't worth that kind of money, maybe like 15 tops because of his versatility. Either way, Juve doesn't need any more strikers. DP/Amauri/Iaq/Trez are more than enough to compete on all fronts. If they need a winger they should buy a proper one.. Cam/Nedved aint getting any younger.
Almeida is garbage, I'd hate Moyes if that deal ever went through.
It would be awesome if he stays at milan because i'v just bought a Milan shirt with Beckham on the back lol.
If I make an insightful comment, it is deleted. If it is vacuous and inane, like the rest here, it is retained. Whoever runs this site, get a life. This is pointless. Delete that.
Liverpool should take the money and run.....if the rumour is true! Babel on the wing and they could but a proper goal scorer to partner Torres untill Keane gets a decent pair of shooting boots
BECKHAM should find team in China,,,, they will like him there :)
I never understand why so called football fans give Becks a hard time.....yes he does ponce about abit and has more money than most of us could spend in a lifetime seeping from his pours but he is without doubt the best right sided midfielder of his generation. How soon we forget how many times he dragged a team of highly paid internationals through a game to eventually grind a result we didnt deserve and why does nobody ever mention the tens of millions of pounds he uses of his own money to fund the various football schemes for under privilaged kids......give the guy a break!
Yeah, you tell em Mr. C ! Look at this @#$% he or she has written ! "West Ham hope to make an official announcement after tomorrow's embarrassing FA Cup exit at Hartlepool." Must be another stupid Northerner, who eats lard sandwiches, drink real ale and put ferrets down their pants. We are going to smash them tomorrow. 3 - 1 to to the cockney boys !
Kuyt will stay at Liverpool
it seems alex chick isnt a hammers fan , 7 million for a player no1 has heard of ! dider drogba wasnt either b4 chelsea signed him , along with many other strikers and players in other postitons for other clubs and we all know theres a risk you take , this man is writing about football ? it would seem hes picked the wrong sport .
In AMERICA BECKHAM is a little fish in a big bowl and he likes to be in the limelight all the time just like POSH STICK iONLY HOPE they dont come back here because there are to many fish getting over paid who cant head a ball and kick with both feet.PS WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH THE BECKS GET GOING
