London 2012 - GB women lose in Argentina final
Great Britain's women's hockey team saw their winning streak ended in the final of the Four Nations tournament against Korea in Argentina.
Danny Kerry's side had comfortably beaten Korea earlier in the event but lost the final by the odd goal in five.
However, after previously beating hosts and world champions Argentina, Kerry insists confidence is still high for next week's Champions Trophy, the last major tournament before the London 2012 Olympics.
“This was a really strong team performance and I feel for the girls because they played so well and gave everything," he said.
"Korea took their limited opportunities very well and at this level it is the smallest things that make a difference.”
Crista Cullen gave Great Britain the lead after nine minutes with a powerful drag flick from a penalty corner but the advantage did not last long as Korea pulled the scores level just moments later.
Two goals either side of the interval established their control until Ashleigh Ball reduced the deficit with nine minutes to go.
Kerry's side pushed hard for an equaliser without success and will now reset their sights on the Champions Trophy opener with Japan on Saturday.
