Sean Dyche is refusing to panic despite seeing his Watford side fail to pick up a point in 2012 to date.
Saturday's 3-0 defeat at play-off hopefuls Birmingham followed losses to Reading and Portsmouth - making it three successive league defeats for the first time since October, when the Hornets lost four on the spin.
Watford duly followed that sorry sequence with one defeat in 11 before encountering their current blip, while Dyche also points to the records of rival teams in a highly competitive Championship as reason not to get carried away.
"We are still without a point in 2012 but it can happen in this division," he said. "Barnsley won five on the trot and lost five on the trot.
"You see it every week in this division. It is a tough division and so topsy-turvy."
