Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell has revealed he is already making long-term plans at Bramall Lane.Blackwell was appointed on a deal until the end of the season last week and has revealed he is loving his time back at the club where he served as Neil Warnock's assistant manager.

He told the club's official website: "I am making decisions as if I am going to be here for the next 10 years, things that concern the short and long-term future.

"I just want the club to be challenging for honours and I am here to try and help achieve that. I am relishing every minute of being here.

"The club has come on leaps and bounds both on and off the pitch and on Wednesday I watched the Under-14s and the Under-18s train and I have to say there are some talented youngsters coming up.

"I am doing long days and putting lots of things in place - each individual must have aims and ambitions because if you relax in this game other people will pass you."
