Southampton striker Bradley Wright-Phillips is confident that new boss Nigel Pearson's back-to-basics approach will prove successful.Pearson was appointed on Monday and suffered a 2-0 defeat to Plymouth in his first game in charge the following day.
But Wright-Phillips has been impressed with the new manager as the Saints squad spend time with him on the training ground.
"It's not been radically different so far, but there is a definite change," Wright-Phillips told the club's official website. "He's got different methods and has gone back to basics.
"He doesn't know everything about us so is trying to see what we know and he'll then tells us what to do.
"He's taking us back to basics and trying to teach us how to win games."
