Leon Cort says the recognition Stoke have attracted since topping the table is long overdue but is happy to be an unsung hero at The Britannia. The 28-year-old former Hull defender has identified the likes of Liam Lawrence and Ricardo Fuller as key men having scored 25 league goals between them this season.
Cort told the Sentinel: "Let them have it. All I care about is the three points - me and Ryan (Shawcross) are not that fussed to be honest.
"Those two have been fantastic, though. I've played against them before, so I know what a massive handful they both can be."
He added: "Put it this way, I'm much happier working with them than against them."
