Colchester midfielder Johnnie Jackson has revealed he is feeling the benefit of extra work on his weaker side as he hits top form. The former Spurs man, who is predominantly left-footed, has scored three goals in his last three games, with two of the strikes coming on his weaker foot.
He told U's Review: "I do tend to do a bit extra when I'm practising. I try and do a bit more on my right because I know what I can do and what I am capable of with my left.
"It is a question of concentrating more when you use your weaker foot - you keep your eye on the ball that little bit more and make sure that your technique is right and that's what I've been doing lately."
