Ipswich manager Jim Magilton has insisted young striker Jordan Rhodes will not be allowed to leave the club on loan again this season. The 18-year-old has made just two substitute appearances for the Tractor Boys' first team and spent time on loan with Oxford earlier this season.
A number of Town youngsters are already out on temporary deals, but Magilton believes Rhodes has a part to play in the club's bid for promotion.
He told the club's official website: "Jordan won't be going out on loan.
"He's had a good season and if things don't work out with David Nugent coming here on loan, he is next in line to step up into the squad.
"He's still very much part of my plans here for this season."
