Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond is set to ring the changes to his starting line-up as his side host promotion-chasing Tranmere on Monday. The Cherries boss watched as midfielder Max-Alain Gradel squandered the chance to salvage a point against Gillingham on Saturday when he had his 79th-minute penalty saved and he could be axed in favour of Jo Tessem.
The former Southampton midfielder replaced Brett Pitman in the 30th minute of the 2-1 defeat at the weekend and it is thought Pitman may be forced to miss out against Rovers with a thigh strain.
Neil Young could well return from his ankle sprain after he was forced to sit out against the Gills but fellow defender Warren Cummings will certainly be ruled out after undergoing an operation to cure an ongoing shin problem.
Goalkeeper David Forde has extended his emergency loan at the club and will continue against Tranmere with Neil Moss (wrist) and Gareth Stewart (broken leg) both still sidelined.
Ryan Garry (shin), Darren Anderton (hamstring) and Steve Foley (back) remain long-term casualties and Russ Perrett are still short of fitness.
