Curran set to make Rovers return

Sun 23 Mar, 02:30 PM

Tranmere welcome back Craig Curran for the trip to Bournemouth after recovering from a bout of flu and will bolster boss Ronnie Moore's squad. However, the 18-year-old has not scored in his last 27 games and is unlikely to oust Ian Moore and Chris Greenacre from the starting line-up, despite the latter missing a penalty for the second consecutive game in the midweek victory over Vale.

Winger Chris Shuker was substituted after just 59 minutes against Vale amidst fears he is not yet fully fit following his three-month spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Striker Steve Davies (knee) remains Rovers' only long-term absentee, having been unavailable since September.
