Notts County goalscoring hero Michael Johnson is an injury doubt for his battling side's crunch trip to fellow strugglers Shrewsbury.Johnson scored the solitary goal against Rochdale to end the Magpies' run of five games without a win but the Jamaican defender has picked up a groin problem.
Mike Edwards (dead leg), Stephen Hunt (groin) and Ali Gibb (knee) are also doubts as County look to put more space between them and the drop zone.
On-loan Peterborough striker Danny Crow started despite shin trouble and could feature again.
Gavin Strachan and Myles Weston (both hamstring) and goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington (leg) are all missing. Russell Hoult will continue in goal for County.
Despite their shoddy home form the Magpies are strong on the road, unbeaten in their last five away from the County Ground.
