Lee poised to make home debut

Sun 23 Mar, 07:00 PM

Rochdale's goalkeeping shortage means Tommy Lee will make his home debut for Keith Hill's play-off chasers when Rotherham visit Spotland.Sam Russell was unavailable for the 1-0 defeat by Notts County with a broken finger, and second choice James Spencer also pulled out on matchday.

Lee, who only joined on loan from Macclesfield on Friday night, made his debut, and Lloyd Rigby was recalled from his loan spell at Vauxhall Motors to provide back-up.

Strikers Chris Dagnall and Kallum Higginbotham are both set to miss out with knee injuries.

Their absence means that on-loan Peterborough striker Rene Howe is likely to start in attack with Adam Le Fondre.

Dale ended a run of four straight defeats at Spotland with a 4-1 humbling of Accrington, and a similar performance will be needed against a motivated Millers.
