Crewe manager Steve Holland could recall Shaun Miller to the bench for the trip to face Walsall after he recovered from an ankle problem.Patrick Boyle's loan from Everton has been extended so he will continue at full-back while winger Joe Anyinsah has been used sparingly as a substitute in recent weeks, but will be hoping he has done enough to earn a starting berth.

Neil Cox (shoulder) and Ben Rix (hip) are again ruled out, while Billy Jones remains sidelined with a knee problem.

Crewe captain Julien Baudet, meanwhile, has warned his team-mates they are not safe from relegation yet despite beating Hartlepool 3-1 at the weekend.

Baudet said: "We still have work to do. If some of our players feel ready to celebrate now they must think again."
