Richie Foran could be doubtful for Darlington's home clash with Morecambe as they bid to get back on track in the League Two title race.The on-loan Southend striker was introduced at the interval during the Quakers' surprise 2-1 defeat at lowly Chester following a two-month lay-off through hamstring injury.

Darlington manager Dave Penney must decide whether to keep faith with his three-pronged strikeforce of Pawel Abbott, Julian Joachim and Tommy Wright, or whether to bring in Foran or Gregg Blundell.

One forward definitely not available is Martin Smith, who had his contract terminated by mutual consent this week after persistent knee problems.

Penney remains without Tim Ryan and Clark Keltie, also suffering from knee injuries.
