Richard Taundry and Mark Bradley are unavailable for Walsall's clash with struggling Crewe as he serves the final game of a three-match ban.Defender Taundry must sit out following the club's failed appeal against the red card he received in the home defeat to Brighton earlier this month.
Midfielder Bradley, who came on as a substitute during Saturday's 2-0 defeat against Leeds as Elland Road, has gone to join up with the Wales Under-21 squad ahead of their friendly against Bosnia Herzegovina in midweek.
Manager Richard Money, who played most of the game at the weekend with Tommy Mooney as the lone striker, may stick two upfront and bring in Stefan Moore or Alex Nicholls.
Money, meanwhile, has accepted that this is probably not going to be the Saddlers' year for gaining promotion.
He said: "The reality is that we are going to be a League One club again next season at least."
