Manchester United midfielder Anderson will replace Kaka in Brazil's squad for Wednesday's friendly international against Sweden in London.
The World Player of the Year has withdrawn from the game at the Emirates Stadium with a thigh injury.
Brazil will also be without Ronaldinho after he was left out of the squad by coach Dunga.
Sweden will use the game as preparation for next summer's Euro 2008 tournament in Austria and Switzerland.
