Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell insists he will not be rushed into making any new signings until his future at Bramall Lane is resolved.Blackwell is out of contract after next month's visit to Southampton and despite guiding the club back into play-off contention, a permanent deal is yet to be offered to the former Leeds boss.

"I don't think it would be right of me to make any decisions until I know what I am going to be doing myself," Blackwell told the Sheffield Star.

"It wouldn't be proper to start looking at other people's futures until my own becomes clearer, that includes people coming in and people who might be going out as well."
